Dr. Dale Little
Dr. Dale Little was born in Dallas and spent most of his young life in that area. He moved to San Antonio as a teenager and later attended Trinity University, where he majored in Biology. He and his wife, Susan, moved to Lubbock upon his acceptance to Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Dr. Little completed his medical residency in Internal Medicine at (then) Lubbock General Hospital, serving as the Chief Resident during his third year. He has practiced internal medicine here in Lubbock since then. His hobbies include gardening and rescuing German Shorthaired Pointers. He and Susan have two daughters living in Salt Lake City with their husbands and precious little boys. Dr. Little’s fascination with lasers was the brainstorm behind DermaSmooth. Both Dr. Little and Dr. Robertson have been trained and certified in aesthetic injectables and laser treatments by Lumenis and Allergan.
Barbara Acker
Barbara Acker spent most of her early life in Irving, Texas. In 1967 she opened her first skincare business at Inwood Village/Lovers Lane in Dallas. Barbara and husband Kenn (retired JC Penney Co), moved to Lubbock in 1977. Their only daughter Renee’ attended Texas Tech University, so as a family of 3 they hosted 18 International exchange students in their home. The International connections afforded Barbara additional opportunities to learn and train with the best in the industry. The First Day Spa in Lubbock was opened in 1993 by Barbara, and after 22 years she is EXCITED to Team with DermaSmooth Med Spa! Barbara and her daughter Renee’ work closely together with Dr. Dale Little to help clients and patients achieve optimal goals…Enjoy Your Body and Life Again!
Renee Acker
Renee’ Acker was born in Irving, Texas. She graduated from Texas Tech University ’81 with B.S. Education/Minor in Special Education. Renee’ taught school in both Midland and Lubbock for over 15 years, although she spent her entire life learning about skin renewal and hair removal at the foot of her mother. It was a logical decision to further her education in Colorado under the supervision of renowned “Laser Man”, Lorenzo Kunze who has worked with every laser machine in the current market. Renee’ has used many different laser machines during the past 16 years at Avalon Day Spa, and prides herself at being gentle with techniques. She has earned her Certified Laser Professional credentials, is a member of the Society of Clinical and Medical Hair Removal, and is registered with the State of Texas. Renee’ is looking forward to her new journey at DermaSmooth Med Spa, and invites you to discuss your skin improvement and hair removal during a complimentary consultation.
